Excised metal much honing stone out less, will appear empty stroke, waste maneuver time, reduce the processing efficiency. Cut less metal, more out of the honing stone, honing stone and cylinder hole extrusion, resulting in cylinder hole deformation, serious will crash the honing stone, not only affect the processing speed and destroy the accuracy.
3. The quality and efficiency of honing mainly depend on the cutting performance of honing stone. Honing stone cutting performance is good, then the quilting speed is fast, high efficiency. 5. The commonly used materials for honing are diamond, corundum, silicon carbide, etc. With good cutting performance, diamond abrasive is commonly used, rough honing stone is commonly used in the particle size of D151 or D126. The fine honing stone is generally D64 or D46. Good honing effect of the platform mesh abrasive is silicon carbide, commonly used is C30 silicon carbide platform honing stone.
