Grinding segment

Segments are used for surface grinding and could achieve more stock removal, better dimensional accuracy and surface finishing etc.

Segment wheels are often used for grinding large flat surfaces, due to the grinding machine’s grinding head (several segments installed in one head) can achieve a large grinding contact area.  Grinding segments are mainly used in coarse grit for surface grinding.

Grinding segments abrasive consists of aluminum oxide, white aluminum oxide, ceramic corundum,SG.

for rough and finish grinding of hard and soft steels,cast irons, cast steel, non ferrous metals

Application of grinding segment:

Grinding segments can be used for Auto, Auto components, Bearing, Steel, Spring, Surgical blades, General engineering, Foundry, Glass, Agrisector Industry, etc..

Note: In order to selection the proper type of segment, please consider the following point:

1. Type and size of grinding machine.

2. Material of workpiece.

3. Required metal removal rate and surface finish.

4. Operating speed and coolant used.
